Pam, Connie, and Marcia met, primarily discussing the joint worship service/picnic at Fort Ridgely on June 28. Pam will check out the park before that day (shelter, amphitheater), and also find out whether she can purhase the required minimum # of car tags and have them available at the gate. Planning games was tabled until the return of Sallie from vacation, since she was to have received game ideas from Stephanie. The planned ladies' Advent luncheon was discussed. Marcia reported on local caterers bids/menu ideas. It was agreed that we will proceed with group planning rather than having one chairman. Pam will bring records passed on from Arlene to review at our next meeting in August. We then will need to contact former heads of committees and hostesses to see if they will be willing to serve again. Program ideas were discussed: paid outsiders vs talent from within congregation; no decision.
